About the Site
Haiku 575 is a place where you will find only one thing: Haiku poetry. Each Haiku is by Larry Bullock. The attempt will be to post new Haiku inspired by an Creative Commons image - the image should link to the original source of the picture. I will attempt to publish a new haiku daily. With such an aggressive plan, not every Haiku will be an amazing piece of work, but, hopefully, they will at least prove to be interesting.

something from another age
still looking hungry
Preparing to ride
a unicycle built for one
out in the open
A roar of warning
the bear stands on its hind legs
keep away from it
Prickly green plant life
hoarding water in desert
waiting for the rain
Rusting classic car
abandoned in the open
waiting for the end
Wispy branches sway
green hair flowing with the wind
the willow weeping
The car doesn’t move
while the world blurs around it
a day at the race
Stream under a bridge
branches covered with new snow
winter has arrived
Growing in the park
edging up on the city
